Quickbooks POS hardware and software cash register system:

Don't purchase!

I hate writing terrible reviews but this system is aweful. DO NOT purchase it unless you have an intuit merchant account and are already approved. They do not tell you this in their ads, but your Quickbooks POS software will NOT integrate with ANY other merchant account (credit card processing) other than Intuit merchant accounts.

If you buy the cash register, you will have to get rid of your merchant account, apply with intuit, cross your fingers and hope that they approve you, which may happen or may not, since they do not allow the sale of many items, including printer ink, printer toner, or tobacco products of any kind (yes, even electronic cigs).

Worse, they were less than helpful or understanding on the phone. I wasted a lot of time, money, and shipping expenses on this aweful product. I recommend to stay away from it!

I dont see how it can be legal for intuit to market this product as a cash register without stating the words "this product will only integrate with our merchant accounts, and no other merchant accounts" on every single product description. But they are doing it anyway and shipping them out.
